In many circumstances we have a scarce amount of reliable information about a problem. Some people wait for more information to flow in so as to take an action. Others may not take any action either because they have no interest in solving the problem, or they don’t have the authority and power to proceed. A third group of people prefer to “fill in the blanks” and take steps with their limited information depending upon their intuitions to overcome the missing information that is needed. In this piece we will focus on the third type.
Is depending on our “sixth sense” a good thing?
The answer is: yes and no! It depends on each individual situation. Some need an immediate action. Therefore, people who are in power to fix the situation are to quickly react to get done with it!
In other cases, we need not to take any step until we have full, reliable, and sufficient information
